"Felt trustworthy at first, but I felt a bit misled"
I’ll give 7ate9comics.com credit for being easy to browse, and at first the site seemed straightforward. Nothing looked shady, and I liked that the layout wasn’t confusing or cluttered.

That said, I did end up feeling a little misled. The site gave me the impression that everything was simple and clear, but some details weren’t quite as obvious as I expected once I got further into the process.

I wouldn’t say it was a terrible experience, but it definitely changed my first impression. It still feels like a real comic shop site, but I’d probably pay closer attention next time before ordering...

"My preorders always arrive"
I’ve placed a bunch of preorders here and they’ve all shown up like they’re supposed to, which is such a relief because I hate wondering if something I ordered months ago is going to get lost or forgotten, but so far I haven’t missed a single one

I checked out on 7ate9comics.com without any problems, which made me a little suspicious because online checkouts usually find some way to annoy me. Pages loaded fine, my payment went through on the first try, and the order details were clear enough. Smooth overall, so no complaints from me

"Selection was thin"
I was hoping to find a few older issues, but umm, the selection was limited. Most of what they had wasn’t really what I was looking for, so it was kind of disappointing.

"Heads up: refund took a bit, but they did come through"
Just a quick warning for anyone ordering: if something goes wrong and you need a refund, don’t expect an instant response. My order didn’t work out, so I had to contact them, and it took a couple of days before I heard back, which definitely made me nervous. That said, they did handle it in the end and the money came back like it should. Not the fastest process, but it was fair, and I’d probably still order again.

"I don’t know why it took so long to get a clear answer"
I like the comics themselves, but the communication wasn’t great. I emailed about my order and, I don’t know why, it took a few days just to get a reply. When they did respond, it was short and didn’t really answer what I asked, so I had to follow up again. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, just kind of frustrating.

"Fair warning: they might have the back issues you’ve been hunting"
I was trying to fill a few gaps in my run and ended up checking 7ate9comics kind of on a whim. Fair warning to anyone hunting older issues: they had way more back issues than I expected, including a couple I haven’t been able to find at my local shop for ages.
The order process was simple, and everything arrived in good shape, which was a relief. I’m happy with how it went, and if I’m missing issues again, I’ll probably check here first before wasting time digging around elsewhere.

The comics showed up in really good shape from what I can tell. Corners looked clean, no bends or anything obvious, so yeah, I’m happy with it.

"Way easier than trying to track everything myself"
The pull list has been working great for me. Compared to how I used to keep track of releases on my own, this is so much simpler, and I don’t end up missing my books anymore.

The comics showed up packed well and the corners were protected, so no complaints there. The box did have a small dent on it, but luckily nothing inside was damaged. Just a heads up to others: definitely give the package a quick look when it arrives in case the delivery knocks it around a bit.

I went in hoping to find some rare issues, but most of the ones I was looking for were missing or already gone. Kinda a bummer tbh, was expecting a little more.

I don’t know if it was just my order, but the grades on mine felt a bit off. Maybe I’m being too picky, but I expected them to be more consistent with the condition I received.

"Photos seemed a bit inconsistent"
I noticed quickly that the photos looked a little off. At first I thought it might just be one or two, but after looking through them, there was definitely a pattern of the quality not being great. Some looked blurry or oddly edited, so overall I wasn’t too impressed

"Shipping was honestly reasonable"
I ordered a couple comics from 7ate9comics.com and, i was kind of expecting the shipping to be one of those annoying surprise costs, but it really wasn’t bad at all. It felt fair, like they were just charging what it actually costs instead of sneaking in extra money through postage, which I always notice and definitely appreciate.
The comics showed up packed well too, so it wasn’t like cheap shipping with zero care or anything. Everything made sense once I got the package, and yeah, I’d probably order from them again just because the shipping didn’t turn the whole thing into a bad deal.

The comic itself was fine once it finally showed up, but the shipping took forever. I kept checking the updates and they barely told me anything useful, which just made it more frustrating. by the time it arrived, I was already wishing I’d bought it somewhere else.

Customer service was actually good, they got back to me and answered what I needed and were nice the whole time, it just took a bit longer than I was hoping so I was kind of waiting around for a while, but it wasn’t a huge deal and overall I’m happy with how they handled it.

I ordered based on the description, but when the books showed up, the condition and variant didn’t really match what I thought I was getting. Reading between the lines, I guess the listing wasn’t as clear as it should’ve been, but it still felt a bit misleading. Disappointing overall.
